Energy

Energy is one of the two most commonly encountered values in MCPF. It is used to power a large number of machines and tools such as:

  • Mining drill
  • Drill
  • Grinder
  • Blacksmith’s table
  • Compressor
  • Fabricator Mk. II
    And many other things.

Energy can be generated in two ways. One is less efficient because it requires a long wait, but nothing else is needed except waiting. The other is very efficient, but it requires gasoline to generate energy. The first method involves setting up a large number of solar panels that will collect energy for collectors (you can learn how to do it here), and the second method involves producing energy in a generator. Simply fill it with gasoline and start it, and energy will begin to be generated basically a few seconds after turning it on. It is very efficient, but remember that you need a large amount of gasoline to generate energy in this way.

Energy can also be transported in your inventory using batteries and accumulators. Simply insert a battery or accumulator instead of a tool into the generator/collector that will be charged. These items can then be used to, for example, charge your drill/grinder or even nano armor in the field, far from the base

Keep in mind that every energy container, such as a battery, accumulator, collector, or even a generator, has a parameter called “energy loss.” The easiest way to describe this is with an example. If the battery is fully charged, meaning it has 500/500 energy, and its energy loss is 1%, it means that if you want to transfer energy to the collector using it, you will actually transfer about 495/500 because the battery has a 1% energy loss. The generator has an 8% loss, the collector 10%, the accumulator 5%, and the battery 1%
